Questions
Who pays the 5%?
The shop does, and only on online orders. It comes out of that order's payment in your Square. Customers never pay a fee.
When do I get paid?
Every order is paid into your own Square account, like a sale at the counter, and paid out on your usual Square schedule.
What about refunds?
You refund in your Square like any other sale. Refund an order in full and its DrinkEats fee is refunded too.
Do I need Square?
For now, yes: your menu and prices come straight from your Square, so there's nothing to build. Other tills, and shops with no till, are coming next.
Is there a contract?
No contract and no lock-in. Leave any time: send us a message, or remove DrinkEats in your Square Dashboard under Apps.
Do you deliver?
Not yet. DrinkEats is pickup only for now: customers order ahead and collect.
When do customers see my shop?
Once we've checked your payments and Ready texts work. We'll email you when you're live, usually within a day.
